My First iDose Experience

Post by Skwurll »

I picked up iDose a few days ago, very skeptical about how it works. I'm a high school student that's been high a handful of times (on marijuana) and drunk even less (Not a fan of drinking), but I'm no straight edge. When I heard that I could replicate the effects of cocaine, hash and even heroin in 30 minutes with sound, I jumped right on board.

I tried the doses a few times before today at night in the dark but got nothing but a very thick paranoia. I'm only afraid of the dark when I listen to this, it seems. Nothing feels right, no matter what dose (A-Bomb, Heroin, X, etc). So I'd try it on the bus in the morning to school. It's a long, dark, quiet ride, and I can get pretty relaxed. It seems unorthodox but I did it. And it worked.

I listened to Peyote, and wow. Towards the end of the dose, I felt like I woke up from a trance and I had no arms. I mean, they were there, I could feel them, but I didn't have the mental will to move them. Bright colors and patterns, including a prism/rainbow, waved over my eyes. Even though it was still dark out, everytime I opened my eyes it looked like it could be 1 in the afternoon. It was a short, mild trip, but it felt beyond what I felt with anything else. It hardly needs to be said I recommended this to my friends first thing that morning.

I replicated the effect later on after school, lying in bed. Same exact effect, minus the brightness. Light coming from outside did have a vividness that wasn't there before, though. I finished Peyote, and decided to try A-Bomb, what the Hell. I fell asleep during the dose and woke up in a haze, while it was still on. My ceiling and ceiling fan simmered and moved like water for a short time.
I told my friend about this and he instantly wanted to try it. I handed my iPod to him and he went to class after I warned him to not try Gates of Hades. He did, and had a small freakout. He said it felt like something was sitting on his chest after a few minutes in. He had never heard of iDose before this.

TL;DR, iDose may be placebo, or mind over matter, or a legit science, but it definitely has mind-altering and mood-altering affects.
