Question about breakthroughs

Post by xanthier »

I seem to be having a fairly typical response to dosing from what I have read on others and that is this...

Each dose appears to work the first time. Then, after that they stop working. It took me a while to realize that's what it was. I know that the first time I used Lucid Dream, I had a lucid dream. Although I've had them without using it but this one was particularly vivid and right after dosing.

Now that I think about it, they didn't work really good even the first time, but now they don't appear to work at all. Has anyone been there before, and what did you do to get out of it? Advice appreciated.

EDIT:

I wonder if this might have something to do with it:

Response Bandwidth 40 - 18000 Hz

(Why would some doses work the first time? namely lucid and opium that I recall)

Thanks!

I would say that feeling a reaction to a dose is not the same thing as it really working. Many times I had thought I had felt all a dose had to offer only a week later to have another breakthrough. You have to learn to let go and let your brain relax and recieve. You really have to avoid trying to control it.

I know that I would have a reaction to a dose and then try to replay that reaction. Well, that won't work because even the first reaction had too much of my imagination polluting it so it wasn't reproducible. The first time you had no preconceptions to replay so it kind of worked. Whe you learn to let the brainwaves play and not interfere with them with noise from your own imagination, thoughts and feelings then it really starts to work.

I still believe daily repetition is important and that the brain makes physical changes that change the reaction to the doses. That part worries me a little because I think the i-doser developers are pioneering in a field that has little testing so I say play with your brain at your own risk.
