I did this last night and honestly, I have no idea if it worked. My memory is horrible, I have trouble remembering instructions given to me not 30 seconds ago, and that is not an exaggeration.
What I do remember though, is at one point my left arm was warm and very uncomfortable, and my entire body felt heavy. I felt like I bounced between a trance and complete alertness.
That's really all I remember, will try again soon.

It's possible to skip it, but if you use a nontraditional method, you go through a vibrational stage, where most people get stuck.
