Hi, let me give you a brief example of the stages of sleep:
Stage 1: Theta waves, light sleep, lasts 5-10 minutes.
Stage 2: Bursts of rapid, rythmetic waves, "Sleep Spindles", ~20 min.
Stage 3: Delta waves, transition from light sleep - very deep sleep.
Stage 4: Slow Delta waves, "Delta Sleep", deep sleep, ~30 min.
Stage 5: Beta waves, REM Sleep, dreams occur, enter REM stage 90 after falling asleep, can last up to 1 hour as sleep progresses.
Stage Order: 2,3,4,3,2,REM,2. Repeated 4-5 times per night.
-MY THEORY: Before falling asleep, loop Delta Dose and fall asleep listening to it. So, in theory wouldn't one get a better nights sleep starting from Stage 3? I have tried this once and that night i got 4 1/2 - 5 hours of sleep and I felt like i just got 12 hours of sleep.
Now, what do YOU think?
P.S. thanks for reading all of this... I know, it's long.

what about a theta to delta? example...
one that takes from from theta straight to delta.. quickly like delta for 30 minutes going down to a delta loop.. the only part that loops is the delta one though..
or if you can't spare a long sleep... perhaps trying theta-10 mins delta-30 mins-beta to be looped (looping only on the beta part)
for a really restful sleep, lots of vivid dreams..
