If you listen to the same noise for a long long time, you will start hearing stuff. Half the effect of I-Doser is in the pink noise. Try it with a real device - turn the radio on and set it to a blank spot, and just listen to the noise. Or even more fun, turn the TV to an empty channel or unplug the antenna. Watch the "snow" for a few minutes... You'll start seeing things.
There are no voices or chimes in the background of I-Doser, that unless you're listening to pirated MP3s recorded by some n00b who forgot to turn off his messenger sounds.
