Impatient and bored during longer doses?

I always get a little impatient and pretty bored with the longer doses, like marijuana. I know it's probably because I need practice, but I would like them to start kicking in more.

Theres not much to do. Just do a concentration technique, like counting backwards, or counting your breaths.
