Are 'Content' and 'Alcohol' going to scare me?

I just downloaded I-Doser last night and am interested in trying the free ones that come with it to see if has any effect on me.

I want to know if the sounds in those 2 .DRG files are scary at all or does it ever get scary(like it gets really loud all of a sudden or anything).

I've listened to a few on youtube(to see what they sound like, I know they wont work there) and some creeped me out with the noises.

Well, they shouldnt. Especially Content. I don't think any doses really are scary at all. Some doses have crackling noises that people dislike (MarijuanaQH, Inhalant to name a few) and they may get paranoid, but they shouldnt turn you completely away.

Don't be afraid to try any i-doser tracks. If you get scared take them off, but there is nothing to be worried about.

To answer your question, there should be nothing wrong with those 2 tracks.

I'm just wondering if the noise stays the same throughout the whole 'dose'.

And are there any that are pleasant to listen to? Most of them just sound like static and freaky.

The noise doesnt stay the same through the whole dose.
You shouldnt be scared, plus they aren't just static noise. Youtube is actually not the place to be checking out doses. Just get the files.

The doses sound more like like noises zooming in and out, not just white noise.

Okay thanks, I'm just trying to figure out what I should expect.

I've never really sat and listened to 30 minutes of white noise before.

Its not white noise, its like a wah-wah sound. Listen to the files man. Its the only way you'll know. Youtube is terrible because it plays Mono not Stereo.

yeah, idk if that was a joke or not, but there actually IS pink noise. Idk, what frequency i-doser uses as a carrier tone, I assume each dose has a different tone though.

Yes the background is pink noise on all I-Doser tracks. As for the carrier frequencies, they do vary between tracks. I know them, but i won't post them as it's likely that they would decrease I-Doser's sales (and get me banned). :P

Alcohol is actually the dose that is the closest to the real thing, and it's pretty fun.

I STILL disagree :D
Have you actually checked out the files on like nero to check them out?

Edit: I wouldnt worry about getting banned anyway, whens the last time "I-Doser" was on? Exactly.

If you're talking about Alcohol not being close to real booze, honestly, it is. If you mean whether i checked the files or not, yes i did. Actually, i know the codes. They show the exact frequencies used. :)

There is a nifty chart out there if you're interested in making your own binaural beats, and i know that I-Doser based some of their doses on frequencies documented by that chart. Use the right search terms and you're gonna find it. :P Of course, the drawback would be that you will have to be your own beta tester. :D

No, no. I mean't that there was MORE than one dose that could emulate the actual thing pretty well.
I'm not that interested in creating my own, i've used other people's creations that aren't very good :P

I'm new into it

Hi everybody,

I have heard about I-doser recently. I think it is such an interesting idea. I just downloaded the 2 DRG files but haven't tried them yet. Do you know how to convert those files to MP3 or another readable extension (for iPod or MP3 players)?

I got another question, have you tried the "Alcohol" one? You know, I've been reading some comments and some people agreed and admited it. Does it really works?

What else is I-doser for?
