I really want to try 5HTP, because I'm on Antidepressant pills (Cipralex) and wonder if that will effect me. But what I'm wondering is if 5HTP actually helps the brain release Serotonin - and if it does, will it still work well if I take Antidepressant?

Thanks

Hmm, I don't think Antidepressents will effect the dose.

It most likely just synchronizes your brainwaves so that you can achieve a happy state for a while. Since that's what I-Doser says the program does...

Just wondring, because if someones Serotonin levels are normal, there's only much the dose can effect you. "Happpy" is a certain level of serotonin released.
So, given that my serotonin levels aren't normal, and thats why I take Antidepressents to get the levels of serotonin right, What are the odds I still get the "happy" level released?

I'm over thinking this. I should just try and report back.
