Is this normal?

Hey, I'm new here (and English is not my first language, so please..ignore any mistakes). My friend gave me the i-doser app with various doses. I've been trying them for nearly one week, but I'm not sure about the effects..

LSD: I fell asleep while listening to this dose. When I woke up, it felt like I was doing something, but I couldn't remember. I didn't even know that I fall asleep. This happened to me during Acid as well.

A-Bomb: I was pretty much conscious, but felt kinda strange when the frequencies went rapidly up in the middle. I can't describe that feeling, but I felt like something was going to happen.

Bufo)toad: Strange feeling as well, plus my legs were shaking twice during the dose.

Is this normal? I would like to experience visuals, but I'm afraid that I'm not sensitive to the binaural beats.

First you have to make sure that doses are original from I-Doser, next you need good headphones (SadLittlePony wrote a guide about picking right headphones http://i-doser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10385 there is also a link to i-doser approved headphones. Maybe you'll find that helpful). If none of listened before is your problem then you're on the right way! Just practice! Don't be disappointed, when you'll practice I'm sure you get doses to work. It seems like you're going to achieve results but you need to practice focusing on that dose, try to meditate (Pony wrote guide about meditation techniques too http://i-doser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10307, she is awesome ). That's my opinion, let's see what other people will say

Thanks, I already read Pony's threads while I was lurking. To be honest, I don't know if those .drg files are original or not. How can I tell?

I have Koss Porta Pro headphones. The only visuals I got were random images (very weird, to be honest) and then random thoughts.

Only way to find out is ask your friend if they are original or not. Headphones shouldn't be problem but random thoughts definitely yes. You have to completely clear your mind while dosing, when you think about nothing you achieve best results. And random images could be caused by the dose, it depends on what are you listening to.

Okay, I'm going to send her a message. There's 106 .drg files, so I assume she either downloaded it somewhere or got it from another person. So if they're "illegal", they won't work? Even if they were originaly from the i-doser site?

I assume they are downloaded so there is just a small chance that they will work. The most probably this is that problem because of you can't feel the effects
Try free doses they should work for 100% or buy yourself few doses. It's not that much 2-4 bucks for dose and there is even few doses on sale in store so check it out.

I don't know if i got your question right but if you are asking that when they are copied they won't work, I'm not 100% sure but probably no. But there is a chance that they are fake, made by some user or something... I don't know much about this, maybe someone does. Wait, maybe someone lurking will respone .

Okay, thanks again. Still no reply from my friend. But she said she was trippin' to some doses, so it seems they should be working. I'll try it again tonight.

Yep there is chance they will work, but there is also a chance they won't. Worst thing is that then you're just literally wasting your time by listening to weird sounds if they don't work... And if you buy doses you are supporting i-doser to make better doses... Consider it... And also be careful what you say because there is not allowed to discuss about illegaly obtained doses in this forum...

Damn! Well, as long as I don't know their origin, it's okay, isn't it? I'll try those 3 free files at first. If I got any results, I'll buy some doses for sure
