I got into the usual setup quite quickly. I decided to try sitting relaxed for this one. I was wondering If I might get open-eyed visuals. Anyway, I turned on the dose and listened.
Not sure how far into the dose because my eyes were closed, I began to feel this pulsation in my eyes, a huge urge to open them. I immediately lost concentration on my counting and opened my eyes.
Feeling disappointed I decided to Reset and try again. Yet again, the strange sensation that my eyes were being forced open. I ignored it and continued to concentrate as much as possible.
Then, it hit me, quite hard. Purple and blue sparkles filled my eyelids as the CEVs began to start. They formed a pattern on a black canvas. Strange thoughts tormented my mind. A man no younger than 50 sitting on a park bench reading a newspaper.
I opened my eyes slowly. My bedroom was vibrant in colour and light. Everything seemed intensified. I felt really good too.
After a while, shadows began to flicker and different colours seemed to merge into each other and my surroundings began to ripple like liquid. I closed my eyes again and got rainbow patterns on my eyelids.
I concentrated on the patterns for a few moments then my body began to vibrate. The vibrations seemed to make me feel numb, the world around me vanished. I lost all my senses one by one. Then the vibration stopped.
Silence. I attempted to put my hand out in the ever expansive darkness. It felt liked cold water. I wanted to get out so I shook my whole body and jumped up.
The headphones came off when I stood. The dose was also over.

If anything those hallucinogenic doses do, is make you see things "differently" somehow. Some doses make things looks so soft and special, and others make your vision more crisp and intensified. Colors sometimes seem more vibrant too.
As for the eye thing: are you sure you just weren't relaxed enough? Sometimes when I can't sleep my eyes just won't stay shut. It's very possible I'm confused on what you mean by an urge to open them, but thats what I got out of it.
